Gaia OS Interfaces

• Cli

  • Gaia Clish (kinda like Cisco's IOS command line)

    • This cli is more restrictive but also the default

  • Bash

• GUI

  • Gaia Portal browser-based Shell

The Management Interface will be connected to the management network. It will be in a different VRF and completely isolated from the production/data network. If the data link goes down it will still be accessible

Security Operations Framework

• Default credentials are admin:admin

• Can be reached through SSH

Expert mode can be accessed with the expert command. This won't prompt you for a password. Sends you straight to # from > by default. However a password can be set

Gaia Setup

SMS and the Security GW both use the same OS. Different roles need to be chosen for each one

Visiting Gaia's IP will bring you to the login portal
